Call me an old cynic but I don't think that Nick Clegg will actually read any suggestions put to him in response to this invitation. The responses will be handled by some backroom gonk who will add the senders to a mailing list and send them junk mail as a punishment for being naiive enough to fall for this kind of thing.

The Labour Party used to do this with "Labour Listens" when they were in opposition. They were only interested in hearing what people had to say in order that they could refine their propaganda so that it was better aimed at what the campaign suggested that people were concerned about.

It looks good thought doesn't it? Plus it takes Nick Clegg a bit closer to being recognised by the public.
