I continue to maintain a site and since Apr 2006 a blog 'Welcome to the QUAD' which features an eclectic range of items across health, social care, informatics and education. I think she does well to echo the Cameron laws of identity, and note that 'guidelines' etc don't mean much unless they are enforced. In that way, her speech hints at the cultural/behavioural aspects of these issues (she's pretty clear about the arrogant and/or unthinking way current government seems to approach issues of privacy). It's this aspect of the way forward on which I'd like to see more thinking developed. oh was about to post this, and you beat me to it!
