Are those manacles round her wrists? How long before the government also brings back the "rack"? More seriously, I would be very surprised if "countermeasures" were not possible. Anyone with the money and need to bypass these cameras will be able to do so. Yet again, ordinary people will entertain sniggering staff in the control centres, and viewers of those exploitative TV crime shows: Real criminals and terrorists will evade the surveillance. Is the “victim” chained up by her wrists? Are those manacles round her wrists? How long before the government also brings back the “rack”?
