So we now have an online statute law database. It has things like the ID cards act for those who want to check for themselves the vast discrepancy between what the Minister says on radio the national register will hold and what the act says it will hold.
It has an excellent official logo which looks like this:

Welcome to this splendid new initiative.
But hang on, what did this cost? Could it have been done sooner? Why didnt DCA just grab the quick win and say yes to Francis when he asked them for this data a year ago? He offered to show up and hoover it onto his iPod. They’d have had this done straight away, for free and to the exemplary MySoc standards of design. Verily it would have been cheaper and faster. Would it have been better? Not sure. That’s a question for the power users. One thing’s for sure – it wouldnt have had that nice logo.
