There’s a new public-sector IT blog. It’s sponsored by Civica, and has Civica’s CTO Paul Simpson saying how clients must retain control of shared services, and Robert Della-Salla, Head of Client Services, London Borough of Hounslow praising the role of the private sector in delivering local authority shared services. One senses the subtle hand of a PR agency at work.

It has a good cartoon though, and promises comment by Mike Cross, which should be fun (perhaps the non-bylined stuff is by him). There’s no one more trenchant and with better background than Mike in this field, but he’s put me in Coventry. I wonder if they’ll link to Ideal Government? At least we could talk via Permalink.
