The faster Google performs online the more hard-pressed its excellent folk are in real life. But Google goodies winners can be reassured….I hear from Google’s open-source project manager Chris this is being processed today. Thanks to Chris and to James for the ping.
Winners – drop me a line to tell me what it looks like!
BTW Ben, Alistair, Kenny, Simon & Ben – I presented screen grabs of your great works to the EU Ministerial e-gov conference at MICC last week, and again tday to the GC Scotland show in Edinburgh, as prime examples of the quick wins government will get if it just makes itself navigabl and opens itself up to co-creation. So spod, Capes & McLeod, g-traffic info are all famous. Strange lack of BBC news stories in Scotland tho – only football and some poker player. Surely BBC Scotland reports far more than that?I did get this. I’m going to process these today.

There is a comment by Francis to the effect “Arrange that Google, Yahoo and MSN searches for those terms take them to the correct site”
How ‘arrange’ and who decides what is a ‘correct site’? This is surely important given the general publics concern over media management a la Campbell. The search engines mentioned are not another branch of Government and they should advise me – should I so wish – of sites that are not what the ruling party thinks are ‘correct’
